Catherine and Jonathan's love of minimalism and delicate colour schemes mixed with dark elegant furniture is what gives their classic 19th century Haussmann 'piece de taille' apartment such an exquisite look. The Christmas decorating is simple coordinating colour schemes of white Summer blossom and Oriental prints influence key pieces for outdoor living. Set up a table and chairs under the bow of a blossom tree add lanterns silver hot pink and natural tones combined with a mix of elegant vintage rustic and modern looking baubles. 'The children and I always finish off our decorating by buying spruce branches and eucalyptus from the local flower market cutting them into small sprigs which we scatter about the fire mantles and tables which look and smell so Christmassy. Emilia then dots our quirky little owl decorations about the Christmas tree as a finishing touch. ' says Catherine.
