Steeped in history, this cottage bewitched Danielle, inspiring her to transform it into a stylish, welcoming home. Soon after Danielle and her partner Bobby and children Adam and Alex moved into this farmhouse in an Oxfordshire village, they were treated to a little history about the building: a chartered surveyor came to assess the rebuild value and discovered "witchmarks" carved into the stones around the inglenook fireplace. These probably date back to the 1700s or early 1800s, and were intended to ward off evil spirits. ’
