Enlisting professional help from a friend, Annabel and James switched one floor for another to turn a neglected town house into an oasis of ordered calm. With their main residence in the country, Annabel and James needed a London base and always shared a desire to live in Chelsea. They loved the buzz combined with a village atmosphere, quiet pretty streets and specialist corner shops. The house they found in a much sought after bijou row, had been added onto at the rear and had a ready converted attic but the layout needed a big switch around and the interiors were tired.
