Foxgloves

An enchanting scene of a glade of Digitalis Purpurea commonly know as Foxgloves growing happily in the countryside is a sight to behold. These native woodlanders have a biennial lifecycle, springing up one year, then flowering, seeding and dying the next. A cottage garden favourite, well loved for their dramatic arrival end of May into early Summer with their tall spires covered in trumpet like flowers, these plants are a countryside classic.
