Several years ago Gabrielle was hunting for a home close to the south coast of England when she found a property tucked away at the bottom of a peaceful country lane in Hampshire. But there was a problem - externally the half brick half timber-clad house looked hideous. In love with the views stretching across the sea meadows she decided to go ahead and buy the house to remodel it.
