Two storey apartment in London

Alvise Orsini's two storey apartment is situated in a fine early nineteenth century house overlooking a central London square. Orsini discovered the original plasterwork and scagliola columns concealed behind false ceilings and partitions. A painstaking restoration project ensued and a host of talented craftsmen including gilders and a talented decorative artist spent months bring the apartment back to its original grandeur.
