Sadly dilapidated house in Venice Beach is lovingly restored

When Katerina Tana bought the late 19th century property it was slated for demolition. She has painstakingly restored it, renewing every single piece of timber that the termites had feasted on. She reconfigured the layout to create a hallway leading from the kitchen to the deck and garden. A pair of tall bookcases create the division between the kitchen and the living/dining area, which is furnished with a mix of mid-century and antique furniture.
