A tree doesn’t have to be evergreen

Small apartments often call for creative solutions when it comes to the traditional Christmas tree. Create your own tree on the wall using coloured masking tape, ornaments and letters that spell Christmas. Old picture frames contain stylized trees and turn an ordinary wall into a holiday feature. A ladder, shelves and candles replace pine and produce a very stylish tree. When all else fails, there’s always the faithful evergreen cut down to size.
